Cote d'Ivoire

IDM organized an advanced Debt-Pro training workshop from August 15 to 26, in
Washington DC, for a three-person delegation representing the
Cote d'Ivoire
government. The workshop was completed successfully. During the workshop,
various debt scenarios relating to Cote d'Ivoire's
current debt situation and circumstances were evaluated and implemented. This
work was carried out in anticipation of a joint IMF-World Bank mission in Abidjan
in September 2005. Thanks to the progress made during the workshop, the
participants now feel that they have the necessary technical expertise to work
with the expected IMF-World Bank team in an efficient manner.
