Changes Made in Portfolio Manager
| Release |
Date |
Description |
| 2003.1 |
February 26,
2003 |
First release of the Portfolio Manager
2003 was completed. This new version incorporates numerous enhancements
over the previous version (2001). These enhancements were based mostly on
the feedback received from our client countries. The Online Help file of the
software includes a detailed list of all the changes made in the new
release. All Portfolio Manager users are encouraged to upgrade to the new
version, and they will be contacted by IDM with the upgrade details and
procedures. |
| 2001.2 |
January 22, 2002 |
Various enhancements were made in the reports in preparation
for the Zimbabwe debt sustainability workshop. |
| |
November 15, 2001 |
A new report was added to the Reports menu. The title of the
new report is Debt Service Report. It was added as the second item
in the reports menu. This new report shows debt service projections for
each loan in the debt portfolio for a period of 60 days from the reference
date. It is the most detailed output produced by the Portfolio Manager
reflecting loan-by-loan debt service projections. The frequency of the
report is daily (i.e. based on the exact projected date of service
payments). The Debt Service report is intended to help with cash
management and currency allocation functions of a Treasury or another
relevant organization within a government that is responsible for
effecting the debt service payments on public debt. The current projection
horizon of 60 days is subject to change. Based on further user feedback,
in may be increased to 90 days or reduced to 30 days. |
|
2001.1 |
July 19, 2001 |
Average remaining maturity and average remaining
grace were added to the Loan report. For totals and sub-totals, this
information is weighted by the outstanding amount of debt, for that year.
Enhancements were made in the Risk Management Report. More
changes will be done in this report during the next few days. We expect to
release a more finalized version, by the end of next week. |
| June 07, 2001 |
Three new reports were added to the Portfolio Manager and
numerous revisions were done in the user interface. In addition, the
online help facility was expanded and a new Glossary added to this
facility. Note that the online help facility is still not totally
complete. The contents of this file will be revised further in coming
weeks and months. |
January 24, 2001 |
This release is the first version of the
Portfolio Manager that is available for upgrading your software directly from the
Internet. We hope that our current and future Portfolio Manager users will find this
"direct upgrade facility" helpful. Note that the upgrade files included here are
only applicable to Version 2001. All Portfolio Manager users who did not yet upgrade to
Version 2001, should contact IDM and upgrade to Version 2001, before attempting to upgrade
their Portfolio Manager software from this page. If this release, Release 1 of Version
2001, is applied to any of the 1999 versions, there will be problems. |
Changes Made in Debt Management
Trainer 2001
Release No / Date |
Description |
July 17, 2001 |
This is the first official release of the
Debt Management Trainer
software. Over the last few months, officials from many countries
expressed interest in this new product. We hope that those who provided
very valuable feedback during the conception and implementation of the
Trainer software will find the end-result to be of some use. In the coming
months and years, we look forward to working with those who assisted us in
the past, as well as others who are interested in this topic, in completing and perfecting this
tool, and in keeping it up-to-date.
At this point, the following areas of the Trainer software remain
incomplete. The online documentation, the technical glossary, and some of
the risk management analysis functions. These items will be completed, and
made available through new releases in the coming days and weeks. |
Your suggestions for improvements in
both the Debt-Pro software and the dissemination service offered through this Web Site are
very welcome. We want to improve our product, and its support, based on your feedback.
Please send any comments you may have, or questions, electronically to us. |
